How to reach Florence

  • If you arrive at Florence International Airport Peretola (FLR), take T2 line tramway to get to Alamanni Stazione (next to Santa Maria Novella Florence Central Station).
  • If you arrive at Pisa International Galileo Galilei Airport (PSA), reach the Pisa Central Station with the PISAMOVER Airport and take a train (R-regionale or RV-regionale veloce with Trenitalia) for Santa Maria Novella Florence Central Station. Or you can get a Flixbus from Pisa Airport to Florence Villa Costanza and then, take T1 line tramway to Alamanni Stazione. 
  • If you arrive at Bologna International Guglielmo Marconi Airport (BLQ), reach the Bologna Central Station with the Marconi Express monorail and take a high speed train (Trenitalia / Italo) to Santa Maria Novella Florence Central Station. Or you can get an Appennino Shuttle from Bologna Airpot to get directly to Santa Maria Novella Florence Central Station. Flixbus and Itabus buses depart from Bologna Central Station and arrive at Florence Villa Costanza, so you need to get  T1 line tramway to Alamanni Stazione.

  • You can check on Gmaps or Moovit (or the website) for Tramway lines and timetables. We suggest you to check trains and Pisa mover timetables on Trenitalia / Italo apps or websites and to buy tickets from there, as well as for Flixbus and Itabus on their websites. You may buy Appennino Shuttle tickets on its website or on Trainline app. For Marconi Express you can buy tickets on its website or just slide your contactless card at the turnstiles on the moment.
  • Since Florence Airport (FLR) is not well connected, we highly recommend you to look for flights arriving in Pisa (PSA) or Bologna (BLQ).

How to reach PLUS Florence hostel

The hostel is 14 minutes by feet from Santa Maria Novella Florence Central Station. Go out from the station on Piazza della Stazione and then walk across via Nazionale to get to via Santa Caterina D'Alessandria where the hostel is located. Click here for the itinerary. 
How to reach the Venue




The Venue is 13 minutes by feet and 8 minutes by bus from Plus Florence hostel. Go out from the hostel and walk across via Nazionale to get to Piazza Indipendenza, then take the street on the left (via 27 Aprile and via Degli Arazzieri) till Piazza San Marco. After that, continue straight to via Battisti and now you are in Piazza Santissima Annunziata. The Museo degli Innocenti entrance is exactly at the opposite angle of the square where you came from. Click here for the itinerary. 
 
How to reach the icebreaker, the social dinner and the social event





The Icebreaker will be held at Reverse Firenze (Borgo degli Albizi, 78R) on Monday 20th May 2024 at 19:30. The attendees registration will begin at the Icebreaker event along with a nice aperitivo and will continue - for those arriving during the night - the next morning before the starting of the school at the venue. Reverse Firenze is located 20 minutes by feet from the Plus Florence and 5 minutes by feet from Piazza del Duomo. Click here for the itinerary. 
The Social Dinner will be held at Vecchia Firenze (Borgo degli Albizi, 18/76R) on Wednesday 22nd mAY 2024 at 20:00. Vecchia Firenze is located 20 minutes by feet from the Plus Florence and 5 minutes by feet from Piazza del Duomo. Click here for the itinerary.
